This is a combination of several studio sessions of Miles that I've collected over the years. I had remembered them as being rather harsh andor boomy, but examination under the digital microscope and some new listening has found them to be quite nice sounding overall. The files have been individually reworked and cleaned up, all in different ways. Some needed some equalization to smooth out the peaks and valleys, others needed manual dehissing, some had level imbalances, all files were checked for dead air leading into and out of the tracks, and all were properly labeled and tagged. It makes for quite a long and satisfying collection of Miles' random Sounds of the Seventies (sounds like a late night compilation CD to me).
