Source:
Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) radio broadcast >DAT at 32 kHz

Lineage:
FM >DAT @ 32 kHz >.wav via S/PDIF and M-Audio Audiophile 2496 digital soundcard locked @ 32 kHz >SoundForge 6.0 >CD Wave >FLAC Frontend (level 8, aligned on sector boundaries)

Technical Notes:
No additional treatment or "remastering" was done. Any noise present on the source DAT remains on this transfer.

Notes:
The only source I know for this (and surely there are others) taped it straight to DAT at 32 kHz, which probably still compares favorably to the latest compressed streams sent out on digital broadcasts. At any rate, I have had this in my collection for a long time, but was unable to perform a digital transfer with my previous soundcard. With the acquisition of the M-Audio Audiophile 2496 soundcard I was eager to put this set directly to CDR/lossless audio.
