Details at Pete Losin's site: http://www.plosin.com/milesahead/Sessions.aspx?s=750517 The show as downloaded had no lineage information. I altered the track breaks from the original, which were shoddily placed. Also, on the untitled original ('750505'), there were a series of breaks, where the tape recorder had been shut off abruptly, presumably to save tape. Losin lists this piece as a single title, but I have banded these fragments separately. The sound on this is OK, but not great and there is a fair amount of audience noise in the final few minutes. Generally, it's quite listenable. Miles scholars will know what to expect of an audience recording of this period. It is what it is. A good performance, though and interesting to hear saxophonist Sam Morrison in the band, too. Enjoy, illaman |
