LDB Special Series #173

Out of my 7,000+ shows and radio broadcasts, I have many concerts that were special for some reasons: the setlist, the
musicians, the venue or unexpected events. These are the ones I'd like to propose you. Most of these come from my
cassettes collection, so they will be released at a slower pace than my Master Series! But you won't be disappointed!
I will try to gather the most unusual things I have in my collection and, as always, your feedback and comments will be my
reward for all the work involved in this project.

DO NOT share this music on mp3, just convert it for your own use. Sharing mp3's is the right way to make me stop sharing
music here.

This is the comeback tour from Miles where he was feeling very weak and could not play long sets. This is one of the
two or three nights he played at the Hammersmith with a pretty standard setlist for that tour. Betty, Aida and Fat Time
are from the album he recorded the year before (The Man With The Horn), Ife comes from the electric 70's tour, Jean-Pierre
was basically unreleased and My Man was a leap in the past from his Porgy and Bess album recorded in the 50's with Gil
Evans (with a total different arrangement, though). I like the 81-82 tour, it was really different from all the other tours
that came after it and the band, although very young, was very powerful. Miles did it again!

Enjoy (sound quality is good, 7/10 I would say)
