This came to me as a CDR with two tracks, one for each side of the LP. Extraction log is included.

Lineage some thing like...

Vinyl source [Rare LP bootleg Session Disc 123 "Hooray for Miles Davis Vol.Three"] > Fidelity Research FR1 MkII > Thorens TD150 MkII >
Fidelity Research XG-5 > Accuphase C11 > Beringher Ultramatch Pro SRC 2496 > Terratech Aureon Space 7.1 > CDR > EAC Secure rip > wave > processing (see below) > FLAC8

I declicked them, then passed them to flambay for some much needed speed correction.

From there I applied some EQ to balance things out, then noise reduction and bass roll off. I think I have them sounding a lot better than the original that came to me (sample included as "Original sample.fac). Normalised the volume across both files.

Cut to tracks, preserving where the LP split was.

The original LP was not that great sounding. I haven't got the CD source to compare it to, so no notion of whether it was better. If it was a straight transfer of the LP, presumably it also sounds bad. I am quite pleased with the results of this cleanup, though they have by no means made it into an outstanding sounding recording, simply a far more acceptable and listenable one. Given it's an audience tape, from a LP, from 1971, it's not actually that bad now!

Enjoy - subtr.

This music is listed on Session Disc and Jazz Masters as "Bwongo" (first two titles) and "Ananka" (last three titles). The Jazz Masters CD is clearly mastered from an LP. Both sources are quite a bit (about a major 2nd) sharp, and the times listed above are from a pitch-corrected version.
The Sextet probably performed a standard set, but no more complete tapes of this concert have surfaced.
The Sextet (still with De Johnette) was booked at the Gaslight Club, New York (December 15-19).
